MagicTracker Pixel Setup

Configures the MagicTracker tracking pixel that powers TrueFunnel, per website. Only visible to accounts with the pixel feature enabled. Lists every website with TrueFunnel enabled; select one from the list to configure it.

Step access​

Admins can expand and complete steps in any order. Non-admins must complete steps in order; Step 3 is locked until Steps 1 and 2 are satisfied.

Step 1: Sign Agreement​

Opens an account type choice (direct customer or agency), then an embedded signing session for the MSA & Exhibit A agreement. Once signed, shows the signed document, completion date, and the selections captured on it: account type, CA customers, EU customers, and HIPAA.

Step 2: Modify Website Privacy Policy​

Generates privacy policy guidance based on Step 1's selections, reviewed and acknowledged in the same embedded signing flow. This is informational guidance to assist with contractual disclosure obligations, not legal advice.

Otherwise, checking I have made adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this website unlocks Step 3.

Step 3: Pixel Setup​

Pixel mode​

  • First-Party Pixel (recommended) — served from a custom subdomain (for example, wt.yoursite.com). Setup provisions an SSL certificate and CloudFront distribution and provides two DNS records to add: an SSL validation CNAME, and a CNAME pointing the subdomain to CloudFront. A status panel shows certificate validation and CloudFront deployment progress, checked automatically every 8 seconds. A custom domain can be removed and reconfigured at any time.
  • Third-Party Pixel — a fixed installation snippet, no custom domain required. Less resistant to ad blockers and browser privacy protections than the first-party option.

Once ready, an installation snippet (a <script> tag plus a <noscript><img> fallback) is shown for the <head> of every page, with a copy-to-clipboard option.

Send Setup Instructions​

Generates a pre-written email subject and body containing the DNS records and/or installation snippet, for sending to a developer or IT contact. Copy each field individually, or open directly in your default email client. Nothing is sent automatically — this only prepares the content.

Form Tracking​

A toggle controlling whether form submissions are captured on tracked pages.
