Change History

Change History shows scan-by-scan results for a website, in two modes: Site Inventory History and Site Tag History. Both use the same layout.

Layout​

A summary strip shows Total Scans, Completed, and Failed counts. A scan list on the left shows every scan with its status (Completed, Failed, Running, Pending, Cancelled), trigger source (Manual or Scheduled), completion date, and duration. Selecting a scan shows its report on the right.

Site Inventory History report​

  • An amber warning banner appears if the site looked replaced, parked, or hijacked during the scan, without the scan failing outright.
  • A Change Summary section lists, compared to the previous scan: new and removed links (broken down by navigation, within-site, subdomain, external domain, and sitemap-only), new and removed forms, new and removed contacts (emails and phones, split standalone vs. found within links), and new privacy pages. Every non-zero stat links to the corresponding filtered Links, Forms, Contacts, or Privacy page for that scan. A View All Changes button opens full detail.
  • A Full Summary section shows current-state totals, separate from the change comparison.
  • If no changes were found, the report states this explicitly.

Site Tag History report​

Uses the same scan list. The Change Summary section instead shows new and removed tag counts, linking to the Script tag view, with a View Site Tags button. The Full Summary section shows current tag-state totals.

Failed scans​

If a scan failed because it was blocked, a dedicated card explains the block type (rate-limited, bot challenge, authentication required, or generic access denial), the HTTP status, the number of blocked pages, the detected CDN or origin delivery stack, the Crawler agent string, and a hint to allowlist it.
